RootX Urban Legend, Truth vs Myth

Please read this before you buy!

This Product is not a "quick-fix" and needs 6 months to work!  All warranty requests must be approved strictly thru the manufacturer.  Although I provide complete instructions and a toll-free 800 number, many consumers incorrectly use the product, use the wrong amount, use it at the wrong time, or don't snake the drain at time of use.  Others think this product will clear their sewer with one use, it will not.  Basically, many consumers do not thoroughly read the information we provide or just don't follow our explicit instructions.  This product is for use in a clear, free flowing sewer or drain line! Please also note that we can not and will not warranty the end result if you don't call for the free application advice. I find almost 99% of all warranty requests are because of a lack of people following the special directions.  A purchaser who does not call before purchasing voids any warranty implied or stated and we can't guarantee the end result or outcome of its use, because we didn't apply it and we were not given the information about your situation to make a personalized diagnosis and recommendation.

  Why Does Rootx seem to work better for some people then it does for others ? Well, it's because a lot of people out there are selling themselves short when they order 2 lbs instead of 4 lbs.  Here's why:  Unless the sewer  run  length  from  your  house  to  the street is 20 feet or less your not using enough RootX !! 

Most people have a 6-inch lateral that starts at the side walk and runs to the center of the street.  This needs to be treated as it is the property owner's responsibility and not the city's.  Also, the foam will flow to that pipe first and not be as effective on the rest of the system.  If you have a bad root problem that your trying to cure, you can't perform effective treatments without the proper amount of RootX and a good drain cleaning! I tell all of my own customers that if your not going to snake the sewer before using RootX, then do a 2nd follow up treatment in 3-4 months and this will help level the playing field against the root infiltration 

We use ROOTX almost every day in my 2 plumbing companies and at my own house, for over 10 years!!  We get factory shipments at least once per month, if not twice. 

The factory wants to inform consumers that  RootX has a Shelf life of about 5 years when stored dry and not opened or mixed up.  My personal preference, when I use it at my own home, would be to use the freshest RootX I can get!

Sometimes the rootx will clump or get semi-hard, this is ok and the factory says to break it up and apply it...NO PROBLEM!  

Once in a great while we get a bad jar,   concrete hard from the factory.  These are promptly replaced, free of charge, but THEY MUST BE RETURNED TO US within 7 days of receipt.  

Please also be sure you need RootX before purchasing as we do not except returns.  Unfortunately, several people have received the RootX, opened it to check it and then put it away on the shelf.  When they go back to use it, months later, the moisture in the air combined with the opening and closing makes its hard as concrete.  Then they want to return it, 2-3 months later, demanding a full refund?  I have been very courteous to many people, but I must now end these returns!  So unless it is returned with in 7 days of purchase, don't even ask!

Additionally, you MUST call first.  We apologize for having to implement this policy, but we know you understand!   Honestly, 99.9% of our customers don't ever have worry to about this problem because they buy it when they need it!
